Red Bull KTM Factory rider Marvin Musquin was crowned the 2015 East 250 Supercross Champion after taking the victory at the final round of the series held at Metlife Stadium, East Rutherford NJ. The French rider has had a great season, registering six wins and two podium seconds in the eight rounds on his way to the title. Musquin’s win marks another step forward for the Red Bull KTM Factory team, because teammate Ryan Dungey, already declared 450-class champion in Round 14 of the championship, finished in second place to claim his fifteenth straight podium position the season.


Red Bull KTM Factory Team rider Ryan Dungey on Saturday sealed the first ever 450-class Supercross title for the Austrian brand when he put himself in an unbeatable points position with a second place in Round 14 at Houston. Winning the title marks a milestone for KTM and Dungey succeeded with three rounds still in hand. He has been on the podium for 13 of the 14 rounds so far this season, including six wins. A fourth place in the opening round was his worst result in this hotly contested championship.

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto extended his points lead as he looks to add an AMA Motocross Championship title to the FIM World Supercross Championship he won in May.

mx3-Julien-Bill-thumbLACAPELLE MARIVAL (France), 7th August 2011 - Austrian Micheal Staufer took the first holeshot in heat one, in front of Milko Potisek and Julien Bill in second and third position. Potisek taking the lead swiftly for two laps, but making a mistake put him down to fourth position. The Swiss then grabbed the first place and going on through to take the first win of the day. With a 34 point lead from his opponent Potisek, Bill just had to finish in 4th place or higher to become the 2011 FIM MX3 World Champion.

thumb_Steffi-Laier-WorldChamp2Since the two last rounds of the World Championship are being cancelled it all came down to the last race in France with a 15 points difference on runner up Chiara Fontanesi. With extremely wet weather conditions on Saturday, it was Steffi who won her qualifing race. During her first practice session,  she felt very strong and showed some good speed on the track. Stephanie’s scored a second fastest time, so we needed to change some things on the bike to get a better feeling. This resulted in the fasted lap time in the second practise session.

Broc TickleCORONA, CA - Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Broc Tickle earned his first-career championship after an exciting AMA Supercross LItes, Western Region main event at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. His second-place finish in the race put him on top of the standings by six points. Western Region teammates Tyla Rattray and Josh Hansen finished the night in sixth and 10th, respectively. The AMA Supercross LItes, Eastern Region main event also treated fans to an exciting race as Blake Baggett came from behind to earn his second win of the season.
Barcia wins championship for GEICO Honda race team

BarciaLAS VEGAS – GEICO Honda's Justin Barcia clinched the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Lites East championship at Sam Boyd Stadium on Saturday night. "How about that?" Barcia said. "It feels pretty crazy. I'm pretty excited." The team's other championship contender, Eli Tomac in the Lites West, did not fare so well. Tomac battled with Broc Tickle for 13 laps before getting passed and missing out on the title by a handful of points.
