Brea, Calif. History has been made. Ryan Dungey is the 2010 AMA Pro Motocross Champion, securing his second title of the year this weekend at Southwick MX in Massachusetts. The 20-year-old rookie has gained enough points in the series with his complete domination of the 450 motocross class to take home the trophy with two races still left on the schedule.

Dungey claimed the 2010 AMA Supercross title in May, making him the youngest rookie racer ever to do so, and now has added the Pro Motocross championship to his list of accomplishments, making him the only rookie ever to clinch both titles.

Dungey has been unstoppable on his Suzuki fuel-injected RM-Z450 and has taken home the win in the past nine races in a row and won 16 out of 20 motos.

Twin Air has developed a new filter and support system for the KTM50, 05-08 and 09-10 models. The new Twin Air system for the KTM 50 comes with a new filter mounting system that improves the surface area of the filter. A 20% larger surface area improves airflow and provides a better sealing surface.  The OEM screen needs to be cut out.

Twin Air has now expanded their range of road bike filters with three different KTM road bike models. The KTM models listed below have paper mesh filters as OEM filters. Twin Air’s proven dual stage flame-retardant foam provides more airflow and better protection than the OEM paper filters.

The 2009 AMA Supercross Lites season saw Dungey clinch the title at the final round in Salt Lake City, Utah. Prior to that, Dungey won four races and picked up an additional three podium finishes.

Christophe-Pourcel-smallCORONA, California, (March 30, 2009) – Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Christophe Pourcel has clinched the overall (ESX) championship, winning this past weekend’s Toronto Lites class main event , and giving Mitch Payton’s team its 24th championship with one ESX Lites race remaining on the 2009 Monster AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, schedule.

Pourcel, who was absolutely masterful in his performance at Toronto’s Rogers Center, topped Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki teammate Austin Stroupe – who placed 2nd at Toronto.

Honda CRF450R 2009 Sealing Ring

Honda-inner-sealing-ring-smallTwin Air has developed an inner sealing ring for the 2009 Honda CRF450R. Crafted from a composite plastic material, this product is light weight and durable.

Designed to provide a better filter sealing surface, the inner sealing ring creates a pocket for the filter/cage assembly to rest in.

This design also makes filter mounting easier by allowing the filter/cage assembly to mount in only one position.
